The communion of saints at the CHS chapel.

Catholic High School (CHS) has been very creative in building spiritual communion among their students with no less than the help of the saints. Although school Masses have not resumed yet, Susan Pang, CHS Pastoral Coordinator, hopes that having the saints in the Primary school chapel will encourage the boys to come for private prayer.  And not just the boys, but the staff too. Mrs Michele Lau, a Secondary teacher, says: “Being seated among the saints really makes me feel like I am in communion with them. I feel they are with me in my struggles as I lean on them for prayers and strength. Their stories inspire and comfort me.” Mdm Jeraldine Goh, a Primary teacher, agrees: “It not only brightens up the chapel, but educates the pupils about the lives of the saints.”
