An art exhibition held at the Church of St Mary of the Angels featured more than 200 artworks from 34 artists.

[email protected] Mary’s 4th exhibition, entitled Faith.Hope.Love, was held from Sept 2-11 and was an apparent success with many of the paintings sold in the first few days of the exhibition.

Some of the popular painting included Rachel Tan’s “The Prayer”, Damien Alexander Wong’s “7 Sins” and work by Lee Kowling.

One viewer found Tan’s painting “uplifting”, while another said Wong’s work “inspired me to be a better person, pleasing to God”.

Proceeds from the paintings were divided between the artists and the church. The church portion will go towards maintaining Heartspace, an art therapy ministry at St Mary of the Angels, for the year.

Heartspace Open Studio sessions are held every Saturday from 9.30am-12.30pm and on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 2-5pm. For more information, visit www.stmary.sg or email: [email protected]
