SINGAPORE – About 150 priests, sisters and brothers from 21 religious congregations in the Singapore Archdiocese marked the Day for the Consecrated Life on Saturday Feb 2 by celebrating Mass (below) with Archbishop Nicholas Chia at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Earlier, Bishop Paul Tan from the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, and who is also in the Commission for Consecrated Life, gave a talk on the vow of poverty that consecrated people take, likening it to an "adventure into freedom to achieve the impossible".

The day was organized by the Singapore Archdiocesen Conference of Consecrated Life.
