SINGAPORE – Church of the Holy Cross had its third annual Bible Camp recently. The camp aims to introduce the main figures and major events in the Bible to students over six years (Primary One to Six).
Each camp is organized with the collaboration of several ministries, including Children’s Liturgy, Catechists, Youth for Praise and Worship, Fishes and Loaves, who provide snacks and meals, as well as Catholic Mums, who help to serve food.
The highlight of this year’s camp was "The Amazing Journeys of St. Paul" where Primary Five participants played a game modelled after television’s Amazing Race to learn about St. Paul’s missionary route.
The Bible ministry hopes to improve on this programme so that catechumens will know the Word of God and want to read it upon completion of their Catechism classes.
