SINGAPORE - Used plastic bags hung from the ceiling to depict the "Resurrection" was one of several exhibits at a "Faith Expressed" exhibition organized by the Ministry of Expression on Apr 14 and 15 at Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.

The exhibits were displayed at the "Cage", a space for youths of the parish. They aroused curiosity among the parishioners when they came to church that weekend. The objective of the project was to "create art pieces focused primarily on the theme of love for Lent as part of a spiritual exercise", said David Cheong, coordinator of MOE since its inception in October 2006. "Resurrection" is Mr Cheong's own creation.

MOE is a ministry of OLPS parish for young artists to come together in prayer, exploration and expression. It also organizes art workshops for children during school holidays. For more information, contact David Cheong at 9099 9154.
