IT IS A humble and yet brave act by John to openly admit and write about his trials and how he struggles to avoid falling into this pornography pitfall that affects not only the young but older folks

as well.

Oftentimes, what seems to be a "small" and seemingly "harmless" curious act can turn into a grave and serious failure.

Like any other form of addiction, pornography is difficult to overcome. There will definitely be relapses.

Just like they say in medicine, prevention is better than cure. We must try to avoid being affected by the disease ... easier said than done, obviously.

Still, as Catholics, we must help each other through constant reminders and most importantly by prayers.

May I suggest that perhaps Catholic schools consider inviting John and his friend to share and to teach our energetic young adults how to avoid falling into this Internet trap.
