Statement of Suitability (Bishops and Major Superiors)
The Chancery would like to commend the cooperation of parishes and entities in implementing and observing the requirements for the Statement of Suitability for Ministry for priests and lay persons from outside the Archdiocese.
The exemption for SSM applies only to Bishops and Major Superiors of clerical Religious Institutes when it comes to the requirement for concelebrating at the Eucharist. However, Parish Priests and Rectors are to ensure the bona fide status of these persons and contact the Chancery if in doubt. Those hosting these persons are encouraged to help facilitate the verification with the churches involved.

Erratum

The appointments of the new members to the Board of Caritas Singapore Community Council as published in the Chancery Notice of 19 October 2018 (CHN/CN/2018/016) will take effect on 5 January 2019 instead of 18 October 2018.
