in Australia,
will be in Singapore to speak at the three events.

The Singapore Archdiocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal (SACCRE) is organising three events aimed at empowering people to fulfil the call of Jesus to go out and proclaim the good news.

Fr Ken Barker, founder and moderator of Missionaries of God’s Love, a congregation of consecrated men and women in Australia, will speak at all three events.

On Nov 15, a Youth Forum titled Building Evangelising Youth Communities will be held at St Paul’s Auditorium in the Catholic Archdiocesan Education Centre at Highland Road. It will be held from 7.30pm-10pm.

All young people are invited to attend the event which includes a talk by Fr Ken and a question-and-answer segment.
The forum aims to tackle the various questions pertaining to issues such as ministry work and life challenges.

On Nov 16, there will be an Evangelical Rally titled The Kingdom of God is at Hand.

Held at the Church of the Risen Christ from 7.30pm-10pm, the rally will focus on the Kerygma, which refers to the initial and essential proclamation of the Gospel. Teams will also be available for participants who need prayers for healing.

These two events serve as a prelude to the Nov 19 and 20 Conference for the New Evangelisation.

In collaboration with the Office for the New Evangelisation (ONE), the event will have an emphasis on communion.

Titled Serve the Lord with all your Gifts, the inputs from the conference also aim at empowering people to go out and make more disciples. Workshops and sessions on empowerment are some of the highlights of the conference.

It will be held at Holy Innocents’ High School hall from 10am-4pm on both days.
